What the HECK.

The Heck of the North — Taking a Little Breather

What the heck… sometimes you’ve gotta listen to your legs.

After a lot of thought (and a lot of kilometres), we’ve decided to give the Heck of the North a little rest this spring. Call it a pause, a breather, a short hiatus, not a farewell.

Hosting events like the Heck and the Hell takes a massive amount of energy, time, planning, and love. And while we know better than most what it takes to keep events alive and kicking, we also know how important it is to make sure we stay alive and kicking too.

So for Spring 2026, we’re pressing pause on the Heck, just for the heck of it.

What’s Happening Instead?

This spring, we’ll be focusing all our energy on celebrating the 17th anniversary of the Hell of the North, bigger, better, and as iconic as ever.

If you’ve been meaning to experience the Hell, this is the year.

Will the Heck Be Back?

That depends… on you.

If you love the Heck, miss the Heck, want the Heck back in the future — tell us. Seriously. Let us know. Your feedback matters, and it helps shape what comes next.

For now, we’re choosing to slow things down just enough to do things right and to make sure when the Heck returns, it does so with the same fun, energy, and quality you’ve come to expect.

In the Meantime…

Come ride.
Come celebrate.
Come suffer (a little).

Join us at the Hell of the North this spring and help us mark 17 incredible years of dirt, grit, community, and lifelong memories.

Sometimes the smartest move is knowing when to ease up, so you can come back stronger.

We’ll see you at the Hell ❤️🔥
