The 16th anniversary edition of the Hell of the North will be held on Saturday, May 31st. We have so many exciting things in the works for this special edition, including a new fan-friendly CX-style finish designed by Cowbell CX organizer and 2017 HOTN Champion Nathan Chown. This year’s finish line lands you right in the beer garden at Slabtown Cider Co. and Brewery, the perfect place to celebrate after a brutal and beautiful ride.

Starting and ending at Slabtown Cider Co. and Brewery, this epic and completely unique fall classic features 100 kilometres of the most amazing dirt and off-road sections, making it truly one of the most challenging events around. As always, the Hell of the North route will include rail trails, dirt roads, and some of the area’s nicest climbs.

Cyclocross and mountain bikes are the way to go. There are gnarly sections where you may need to dismount and run. Road bikes are not recommended, opt for MTB shoes and pedals to handle the terrain.
