WELCOME
Welcome to the 17th anniversary of the Hell of the North. One of the longest-running and most unique cycling events in Ontario, the Hell is known for its mix of pavement, dirt roads, rail trail, and unpredictable conditions that demand fitness, skill, and resilience. This is not just a ride.
This is an experience.
EVENT OVERVIEW
This year, we are proud to offer three course options, opening the Hell up to more riders while preserving the full experience.
Hell of the North (120km)
The full distance.
30+ years of history, battle-tested routes, iconic sectors, and everything that makes the Hell⦠Hell.
Including the infamous Trench - a defining mid-race sector that can make or break your day.
Sneaky Lil Devil (100km)
A shorter, more calculated route.
Cuts out the far north section and avoids The Trench, reducing distance while still delivering a true Hell experience.
Halfway to Hell (70km)
A more accessible option.
Experience the terrain, vibe, and challenge without committing to the full distance. Perfect for first-timers or those looking for a lighter day.
Terrain: Pavement, hard-packed dirt roads, rail trail, off-road sectors
Elevation: Rolling terrain with punchy climbs
Expect changing surfaces, changing conditions, and a true test of your ability.
